The ADUM1401ARWZ is a high-performance, quad-channel digital isolator based on Analog Devices' proprietary iCoupler® technology. This device combines high-speed CMOS and monolithic air-core transformer technology to provide outstanding performance characteristics superior to traditional optocouplers. By eliminating LEDs and photodiodes, it avoids common issues like uncertain current transfer ratios and temperature-related degradation. The ADUM1401ARWZ features a 3/1 channel configuration (three forward, one reverse), making it perfect for bidirectional communication in SPI interfaces or data converter isolation. With a 2500V rms isolation rating and support for 3V/5V level translation, it ensures robust signal integrity and safety in industrial, automotive, and medical environments.
Features:
- iCoupler® Technology: Magnetic coupling provides higher reliability and lower power consumption than optocouplers.
- Quad-Channel Isolation: Four independent channels with a 3/1 directionality for bidirectional data flow.
- Voltage Translation: Operates from 2.7V to 5.5V on either side, enabling seamless 3V/5V level shifting.
- High Immunity: Common-mode transient immunity of >25 kV/μs for reliable operation in noisy environments.
- Safety Certified: UL recognition (2500V rms), CSA, and VDE regulatory approvals for medical and industrial use.
- Wide Temperature Range: Industrial-grade performance rated from -40°C to +105°C.
