VL53L0X V2 Time-of-Flight Laser Ranging Sensor Module 2m

The VL53L0X V2 Time-of-Flight (ToF) Laser Ranging Sensor Module is a high-precision distance measurement sensor based on STMicroelectronics' advanced FlightSense technology. Unlike traditional infrared sensors that rely on reflected light intensity, the VL53L0X measures the exact time it takes for photons to travel to the target and bounce back. This allows for highly accurate distance measurements up to 2 meters, completely independent of the target's color, reflectance, or surface texture.

This V2 module features an onboard low-dropout (LDO) voltage regulator and level shifters, making it fully compatible with both 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers. It communicates over a standard I2C interface, making it incredibly easy to integrate with popular development platforms like Arduino, ESP32, STM32, and Raspberry Pi. It is ideal for applications requiring precise obstacle detection, gesture recognition, robotics wall-following, and user presence sensing.
