The TBS Triumph FPV antenna SMA represents a significant advancement in 5.8 GHz antenna technology whereas other antennas rely on cloned designs. Together, Video Aerial Systems LLC (IBcrazy) and Team-BlackSheep are redefining how a 5.8 circular polarised antenna should appear and function.

We have looked well beyond the conventional bent lobes of Cloverleaf designs to locate the finest antenna designs known to man and modified them expressly for FPV use in our pursuit of the clearest video signal and greatest range.We spent a lot of time designing and testing the Triumph to make sure it could withstand even the worst punishment. We chose to employ a double-jacket heavy strength Semi-Rigid cable with tin-plated connections after conducting several test flights and receiving detailed input from our pilots. We made a customised casing with foam filling and ultrasonically welded seams to shield the antenna from approaching trees or other obstacles.
