The E3D V6 Remote Heatsink is a premium-grade aluminum radiator designed for Bowden-style (remote) extrusion setups in desktop 3D printers. Engineered to provide exceptional thermal management, this heatsink rapidly dissipates heat from the transition zone of your hotend. By maintaining a sharp thermal gradient, it effectively prevents heat creep—the leading cause of filament softening, swelling, and subsequent hotend clogs during long print jobs.
This universal heatsink is compatible with both 1.75mm and 3.0mm filament configurations, as the filament path is determined by the internal heatbreak (throat) you install. It features a standard M7 internal thread at the bottom to securely mount V6-compatible heatbreaks and an M10 threaded top port to accommodate standard Bowden pneumatic fittings. Whether you are building a custom RepRap machine or upgrading an existing 3D printer like the Ender 3 or Prusa i3, this lightweight radiator ensures stable, high-temperature extrusion performance.
Features:
- High-Grade Aluminum: CNC-machined from premium aluminum alloy for maximum thermal conductivity and durability.
- Efficient 11-Fin Design: Optimized surface area-to-volume ratio ensures rapid heat dissipation when paired with a standard 30mm cooling fan.
- Universal Compatibility: Works seamlessly with both 1.75mm and 3.0mm filament setups.
- Standard M7 Thread: Designed to fit standard E3D V6 heatbreaks (throats) perfectly.
- Bowden Ready: Features a top M10 threaded port for easy integration of pneumatic push-to-connect fittings.
- Lightweight Construction: Weighing only 18.3 grams, it minimizes print head payload for faster, more precise printing.
