If I used this motor in the Quadcopter ,can it produce thrust of lifting 3kg or not??

    Here is the calculation of the drone weight lifting capacity.

    Note: This method is not a standard method for calculating drone capacity.

    • Each motor can lift approx up to 800-1 kg. So 4 motors have a total of 3.2kg - 4 kg capacity.
    • Here is assume total thrust of 4 motors is 3.5kg. The weight of the drone and battery will be approx 1.5 kg. (depends on the battery, drone frame, motor, etc.)
    • So now we have only  2kg. But we calculate drone weight lift capacity we have to consider only 50% of available thrust because 50% will be used to stable the (i.e when you flying a drone and there is high wind then the drone required more power in some of the motors to stabilize the drone.
    • So we have 50% of 2 kg is 1kg maximum (approx) capacity of the drone to lift the weight. 


    Note: When you lift 1kg weight on a quadcopter drone at that time each motor will consume approx 20-30 Amp, this high APM will heat result Motor ESC and battery. 30c 2200mah lipo will be able to provide a maximum (2.2*30=66Amp) and at this maximum consumption, lipo battery life will reduce. Our suggestion is to make a hexacopter if you want to lift 1 kg weight with approx 5000mah 4s lipo battery to get little long flight time..
